Code of Ethics

Preamble

This Code of Ethics states the commitments that CoinUnited Academy makes to learners and to the public, and the commitments it asks of every certified holder. It applies to the program in how it designs, teaches, and certifies, and to holders in how they represent their credential. It is a public, referenceable standard: anyone may hold the program, or a holder, to it. Its structure follows the practice of established professional bodies, which pair a short code with specific standards of conduct and make adherence a condition of holding the credential.

Part A. Commitments of the program

A1. Learner first. The program's decisions are made in the interest of the learner's understanding and financial safety first.

A2. Risk awareness before profit. The program teaches how to survive and manage risk before, and above, how to pursue return. It will not frame trading as a path to guaranteed or easy income.

A3. No guarantees of return. The program makes no claim, direct or implied, that its content will produce trading profit. Certification attests knowledge, not future performance. This is consistent with the professional standard against misrepresentation, which prohibits guaranteeing a rate of return or the preservation of capital.

A4. Disclosed issuer and managed conflict of interest. The program is an education initiative of CoinUnited.io, a trading venue, and discloses that relationship rather than claiming independence from it. It teaches platform-neutral knowledge that endorses no exchange, broker, platform, or product, and it does not sell trading services, accept payment for placement, or take sponsorship that could shape what is taught.

A5. Platform neutrality. The program teaches universal knowledge and does not endorse or assume any specific venue or tool.

A6. Factual accuracy. The program certifies only content it has verified against authoritative sources, and it corrects errors promptly when they are found.

A7. Transparency of standards. The pass mark, the methodology, and the skills certified are published and open to scrutiny.

A8. Fair access. Barriers to entry are kept as low as possible so that the credential is earned on competence, not on the ability to pay.

Part B. Commitments of certified holders

B1. Honest representation. Holders represent the credential accurately: what it certifies, at what level, and its date. They do not imply it is a licence, a guarantee of skill in live markets, or authority to give financial advice.

B2. Scope of the credential. Holders do not present the certificate as permission to manage other people's money, or as a substitute for any licence or registration their jurisdiction requires.

B3. Risk-aware conduct. Holders apply the risk-first principles the credential attests, and do not use the credential to lend credibility to guarantees of profit made to others.

B4. No misuse for solicitation. Holders do not use the credential to promise returns, to solicit funds on the basis of guaranteed performance, or to endorse specific products under cover of the certificate.

B5. Continued accuracy. Holders keep their public claims about the credential current, and withdraw any claim to a level they have not attained.

B6. Integrity in examination. Holders earn the credential through their own work. Sharing exam content or misrepresenting a result forfeits it.

Reference and enforcement

This Code is modelled on the approach used by established professional bodies, which make a code of ethics and standards of conduct a condition of holding a credential. A serious or repeated breach by a holder is grounds for withdrawal of the certificate and of the right to reference it.
