Join the CoinUnited Internship Programme in Seoul 서울 and work alongside our teams on live projects that real traders use every day. Since 2018 we have been building one account that reaches global markets around the clock, across crypto, stocks, indices, forex, commodities and pre-IPO. You will learn by doing, with a dedicated mentor, and strong performers are considered for full-time roles.

This role is based in our Seoul office. Korea runs on the same clock as Tokyo, with the Korea Exchange trading 09:00 to 15:30, and the desk here covers the KOSPI and the won, one of the currencies our traders reach through us that a conventional broker will not offer. Korea also has one of the most active retail crypto markets in the region, and that flow does not stop when the exchange closes.

What you'll do

• Contribute to real product, engineering or operations work that ships to live trading users.
• Rotate across teams to understand how markets, products and operations connect inside a 24/7 platform.
• Pair with an assigned mentor on weekly goals, code or project reviews, and regular feedback.
• Research a focused problem or feature and present your findings and recommendations to the team.
• Take ownership of a scoped project from brief to delivery over the course of the programme.
• Document what you build and learn so the next intern and the wider team can build on it.

What success looks like

In your first six months

• You have delivered at least one scoped project that is used by the team or shipped to users.
• You have built a working understanding of how CoinUnited operates across global markets and product lines.
• You have earned consideration for a full-time offer based on demonstrated growth and ownership.

What you'll bring

Must-have

• Current student or recent graduate, with the right to work in the role location or eligibility for visa and relocation support.
• Strong fundamentals in your field of study and a genuine eagerness to learn quickly.
• Clear written and spoken communication and comfort working in a fast small team.
• Able to commit to the full programme on-site in the role location.

Nice-to-have

• Personal projects, coursework or competitions that show initiative beyond the classroom.
• Curiosity about crypto, financial markets or building products at scale.
• Familiarity with the tools and technologies relevant to your chosen track.
