Bit2Me Launches New Cashback Debit Card in Collaboration with Mastercard
CoinUnited News reports that Spain’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, Bit2Me, has made an announcement regarding the launch of its latest cashback debit card. This new offering is the result of a collaboration with Mastercard, a well-known payment network used by millions of merchants globally.
Earn Bitcoin Cashback on All Transactions
The original Bit2Me card already allowed its users to make transactions through the Mastercard network. However, this new upgrade gives consumers the opportunity to earn up to 9% bitcoin cashback on all their transactions, whether they’re done in-store or online.
Multiple Cryptocurrencies Supported
Eight different cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Cardano (ADA), Ripple (XRP), Solana (SOL), and Polkadot (DOT), as well as the stablecoin Tether (USDT) are supported through the card and wallet.
Bit2Me Accessible Globally
Currently, Bit2Me can be accessed from 69 different countries worldwide. However, users residing in the European Economic Area (EEA) are only eligible to apply for the virtual form of the card.
Bit2Me’s Expansion Plans
Bit2Me has been planning to expand its services globally since it made its first statement in 2021. The exchange quickly stepped in to assist 100,000 cryptocurrency investors when local Spanish trading platform 2gether went down in July.
Mastercard Active in Web3 Arena
Mastercard has also been actively involved in the Web3 arena, delivering new services and possibilities to its customers. Over the past year, the company has selected at least seven blockchain and cryptocurrency firms to participate in its fintech accelerator program.
