The Preakness is commemorating its 146 year legacy with a collection of 1-of-1 NFTs surrounding race day that will never be minted again. This NFT commemorates Secretariat who cemented his place as one of the greatest Thoroughbred race horses of all time, an American icon, and a cultural phenomenon of the era with his Triple Crown victory in 1973, which culminated with a historic 31-length victory at Belmont. His Preakness Stakes speed record of 1:53 still stands today, and he finished his illustrious career with five Eclipse awards, two Horse of the Year honors, and a National Museum of Racing Hall of Fame nomination.
